Kawasaki KLR650
This is a real all purpose 'where would you like to go today?' bike. It comes with a powerful 35kW single cylinder engine - plenty to get you anywhere you want. The bike is a comfy cruiser to cover some distance with two up and once there it offers great handling on windy back roads and gravel so nothing will stop your exploring every corner of the country. A large tank gives you the range to go with it (well over 300km).
BMW F650 GS
Like the Kawasaki, a great dual-purpose 650cc bike featuring ABS brakes and heated grips, a superb go-anywhere, do-anything bike, flexible enough for commuting, nimble enough to scorch the tar on your favourite passes, sure-footed enough to tackle un-tarred back roads and comfortable enough to make a decent light tourer. The F650GS is also the machine of choice for shorter riders.
BMW F650 CS
BMW's 'city slicker' sports the same engine as the 650 GS but with a lower, sportier road suspension as well as road tires. This bike is ideal for people who prefer a sporty riding position. The bike feels at home in town traffic as well as on long distance rides on tarred roads.
BMW F650 GS/2
BMW's upgraded F650GS now has a 800cc twin cylinder engine. This is the right machine for exploring not just the closer surroundings of the Cape but also further away places with two up and luggage. The bike is not just the perfect companion to cover longer distances in comfort but as a member of the BMW GS family it feels equally at home on windy tarmac and un-tarred roads. ABS brakes and heated grips come with the package.
BMW F800 GS
The perfect alternative to the F650GS/2 for trips including longer passages on un-tarred roads or to the R1200GS when a lighter, yet powerful bike is desired. A sexy bike even when it's parked. ABS brakes and heated grips are part of it.
BMW R1200 GS
Combining on and off-road performance with comfort and style, few bikes come close. Light and powerful, this is the ultimate travel tool. While this is best suited for long distance road travel with lots of space for pillion and luggage, it is also very capable of taking on gravel roads. This is what big, adventure-touring street bikes are all about. Includes ABS brakes ESA suspension adjustment and heated grips.
